Why did I start blogging? I needed the money. Is that short and honest enough for you?
Okay, a little background. Though I work a full time job, and my wife works part time, with a 2 year old at home, money and time are both pretty scarce. I really wanted to find a source of income I could use to offset my wife’s eventual leaving of her job to be with our daughter full time. I needed something I could do part time.
So I sat down at the computer and I entered a few seach strings that maybe you are familiar with, “How to use the internet to make money,” and, “Making money using the internet.” The results were numerous, to say the least. One site I found was a great site called ProBlogger.net, if you haven’t been there yet, go check it out now, go ahead, I’ll wait. It may be the best advice you get from this site.
ProBlogger.net introduced me to the concept of blogging for money. I haven’t looked back yet. The site was, is, full of pages and pages of great information, as well as hundreds, if not thousands of readers who leave useful comments on the topics discussed there. A virtual blogging goldmine.
So I set myself on the path of becoming a blogger. If you are reading this chances are you are somewhere on that road yourself. This site is not the blog I created to satisfy the orignal need, but a companion site to share with the likes of you what I do and how I do it, if it works, and if not, what changes I will make .
In the next few posts I will outline the steps I took in making the decision I made that brought me to create the website Three Wheel Revolution, the website this site parallels. I invite you to read along and hopefully you will find some bit of knowledge that will make creating this site worth while.
